Rafting in the Smokies has been rafting the Pigeon River since 1978 an they invite you to come out and play!
They offer rafting, ziplining, ropes course and horseback riding, or a combination of any of the four.

Whitewater Rafting in the Great Smoky MountainsRafting makes for a great family or group experience and Rafting in the Smokies trips include certified and trained guides for safety and comfort. They not only guide your raft but they share their knowledge of the river and the Smoky Mountain outdoors. They offer whitewater rafting trips on the Upper Pigeon which boasts 12 Class III and 3 Class IV whitewater rapids in a 5 miles, 1-1/2 hour trip. This trip is available to anyone 8 years or older and no experience is needed, but expect a wet, bumpy ride!

Family rafting fun on the Lower Pigeon River
The Lower Pigeon Rivers hosts the Family Float Trips with calm Class I and II rapids in a 6 mile trip. Ages 3 year-old and up can ride, no experience is necessary and life jackets are provided for all riders. You will see the outstanding scenery as you skirt the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Cherokee National Forest.
