ENJOY MOUNTAIN ADVENTURES AT JAYELL RANCH NEAR DOLLYWOOD

“I wanna be a cowboy…” sings Toby Keith echoing the sentiments of so many of us when we were asked what we wanted to be when we grew up. There aren’t many jobs for cowboys these days but you can experience the trail ride at Jayell Ranch, conveniently located one block off of Veterans Parkway between Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, TN, close to Dollywood and Dolly’s Splash Country.

On the trail you can leave the hustle of the city below and enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains, fresh air, and lush foliage all from the strong back of a gently horse. You will ride through more than 200 acres of trees and mountain views along a 4-mile trail on your friendly horse.

Then, if you are looking for a different way to view the Smoky Mountains you can strap onto a zipline and sail through the air. At Jayell Ranch you climb aboard a 2.5 ton military monster truck and ride to the top of the mountain. There you will receive instruction and safety tips, strap into your harness, hook onto the line and take off like Rocky the Flying Squirrel. Or Superman, or a Jet Pilot or anyone you want to be. It is just you and the elements as you soar above the ground and through the air creating an experience that will last you a lifetime.

Jayell Ranch is family owned and operated and is located on a farms that has been in the same family for over 200 years. On this property was the first house built outside of Shield’s Mountain Fort, the first major settlement in East Tennessee. The folks at Jayell Ranch invite you to come and view this historic site, relax and sit on the porch and rock the stress of the day away or enjoy horseback riding or ziplining. You satisfaction, fun quota and safety is their highest priority, so come on partner, saddle-up at Jayell Ranch.
