At NASCAR Speedpark Smoky Mountains, you can have unlimited fun and play all day for one low price. There are 24 rides and attractions at the Speedpark in Sevierville, TN, and it is conveniently located across from Wal-Mart and next to T.G.I. Fridays, on the Parkway.
For racing fans there are 8 tracks ranging from the quarter-mile D oval Smoky Mountains Speedway where you can drive a 3/8 scale version of an actual Sprint Cup car, to Baby Bristol, a chance for kids to drive their very own car around a 200-foot starter tracks.
The other tracks include The Competitor - a short track with lots of banking; The Intimidator - a track for those looking for a challenge; Slidewayz - a 750-foot slick track; Family 500 - an hourglass shaped road course for rookies and pros; Young champions - an 1,100-foot tracks for all ages; and The Qualifier - a beginner's track where you can get a taste of the real thing! Most of the tracks have a height or age restriction or require a driver's license.
And there are plenty of other things to do when you are done driving. Bumper Boats, The Arcade, Rock Climbing Wall, Fantasy Golf and Starship 3000, a
thrilling, spinning spaceship ride.
Kids will love their choices for fun which includes the Kiddie Speedway, Rockingham Railroad, Stock Caro'sel, Tot Rods, Tubs of Fun, The Scrambler, Tilt-a-Whirl and an Indoor Playground. Of course there is plenty of food and drinks and plenty of clothing, die casts and memorabilia at the NASCAR Merchandise Store.

It may be hard to believe, but the leaves are budding and the daffodils are in full bloom in the Tennessee Smokies, and this means that Springfest in the Smokies has begun! This is a great time to visit the Smokies; traffic is not as heavy, the weather is pleasant and most of the theaters, attractions, restaurants and accommodations are open and ready for your business.

Cinco de Mayo is Spanish for "fifth of May" and is a celebration day in the United States to commemorate the Mexican army's victory over the invading army of France on May 5th, 1861. Napoleon III was seeking to establish a Latin-American stronghold following the Mexican-American War of 1846-1848.
It began in the Mexican-American communities in the American West and today is celebrated as a day of Mexican heritage and pride. For non-Mexicans it is an opportunity to eat Mexican food and drink Mexican beer and perhaps get a T-shirt from your favorite Mexican Restaurant.
