CARS ARE THE STARS AT THE HOLLYWOOD STAR CARS MUSEUM
In the heart of Gatlinburg is a most unusual museum where the cars are the stars. The Hollywood Star Cars Museum boasts movie, TV and celebrity cars all on display with stories and histories to tell the stories of the cars origins, their TV or movie roles, or their famous owners.
See the cars from Furious 7, the 2012 Nissan GT-R and the Aston Martin DB-9 driven by Jason Statham, and other movies like Ghostbusters Ecto-1, the Back To The Future DeLorean and the Days of Thunder Mello Yello race car. TV is well represented with the Batmobile from the Batman TV series, General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard and the Beverly Hillbillies Jalopy.
Most of the cars are in settings with lights, sound and action and many of the cars were created by George Barris, who has created more Hollywood and TV cars than anyone! And the museum is always looking for new vehicles to add to the collection like from recent Avengers and Transformers movies. Celebrity vehicles include Michael Jackson's Mercedes-Benz 500 SEL, Sir Paul McCartney's "Single Edition" Cadillac and Dolly Parton's Cadillac D-Elegance.
